Idaho Journeyman License:
- A journeyman must have 4 years experience. Mail your application and $35.00 non-refundable application fee to: Division of Building Safety, HVAC Bureau, 1090 East Watertower Street, Meridian, ID 83642.
- Obtain study materials: International Fuel Gas Code, 2006; International Mechanical Code, 2006

- The exam is open book, 50 questions and a time limit of 3hrs. 70% required to pass
Idaho HVAC Contractor License
- Contractors must take a business exam and hold a Journeyman license not less than 2 years.
